Financial Reporting Analyst
Position Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required).
- Five + years experience in financial statement preparation, financial consolidations, and general ledger accounting.
- Familiarity with appropriate software.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial package including consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare monthly worldwide and corporate-related account reconciliations.
- Prepare/respond to external and internal audit schedules and inquiries.
- Prepare and issue government required reports (U.S. Census Bureau).
- Assist Financial Controller with SEC reporting, including preparation of footnotes to the financial statements and 10-Q/10-K workpaper binders.
- Assist Financial Controller with preparation of Current Estimate.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly Board of Directors Finance Committee report.
- Assist in preparation of monthly Board of Directors letter.
- Prepare corporate-related journal entries, including those for stock options, restricted stock, stock repurchases, restoration plan activity and insurance invoices.
- Reconcile restoration plan share and account activity.
- Prepare quarterly Cash Flow Statement.
- Prepare quarterly Equity Roll Forward Schedule.
- Compute quarterly weighted average shares.
- Maintain management and legal entity structures in SAP.
- Assist accounting personnel with SAP issues, including establishing company codes, cost centers and accounts.
- Assist in corporate-related annual budget, primarily insurance and interest expense.
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to inquiries by external auditors.
- Other duties as assigned by senior management.
