Manager, Leadership Development
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Management or OD field preferred.
- Minimum seven years of industry/functional experience
- Demonstrated leadership success in a complex global organization as well as a track record of training and developing talent.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong written/oral and facilitation skills
- Comfort interfacing with senior management and people across the organization
- Collaborative style with decisive, results-oriented approach
- Sound business acumen with corresponding analytical and judgment skills
- Adaptable and innovative in design and execution of learning and development programs, processes and solutions
- Requires domestic and international travel
Position Responsibilities
- Succession Planning and Management
- Develop and implement repeatable and sustainable succession planning methods
- Document business process requirements and succession planning
- Facilitate talent review sessions with senior managers
- Support and guide managers through succession planning process
- Create process documentation and maintain succession planning activities
- Leadership Development
- Develop and implement leadership development program and resources
- Build and proactively manage potential leadership pool(s) across the organization
- Coordinate company-wide executive education, development models and offerings
- Develop functional career path architecture within the Company
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve rotational programs
- Define and manage executive coaching services delivery for the enterprise
- Executive team interventions/team building
- Employee satisfaction or engagement surveys and action planning/follow up
- Leadership Talent Deployment and Integration
- Design and guide talent movement strategies across the organization
- Provide leadership diagnostic and intervention capability/tools
- Define and analyze key metrics for areas of accountability
- Develop and lead executive assessment and coaching processes as well as improved assessment capability across the company
- Management Relations
- Collaborate with Personnel, Compensation, Training and OD functions to ensure strong integration and alignment of all systems, processes and outcomes
- Provide internal consulting services concerning leadership development issues
- Administrative
- Maintain the department databases and statistical information
- Monitor costs associated with on-going department projects
- Provide inputs to budgeting for program and project costs
- Interface with all departments and divisions in the performance of job functions
