Senior Benefits Analyst
Position Qualifications
- College degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- Three or more years of work experience in the benefits area.
- Proficient in use of Excel, Word and other Microsoft office software
Position Responsibilities
- Oversee and administer the following benefit plans administered in the U.S
- Medical/Dental Plan.
- Vision Plan.
- Employee Assistance Program.
- Group Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment.
- Supplemental Life and Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment.
- Short Term Disability.
- Long Term Disability.
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and agencies such as:
- Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
- Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Labor (DOL).
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA).
- Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
- Determine weekly funding and provide monthly funding reports for health and welfare plans.
- Provide for divisional accounting of benefit plan costs.
- Oversee annual health and welfare open enrollment.
- Review all monthly billings for health and welfare plans.
- Review and process long term disability claims.
- Review and process accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) and death claims.
- Review and process waivers of premium for life and AD&D coverage.
- Provide participant support as required.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing correspondence related to the health and welfare plans.
- Meet with internal and external auditors as directed.
