IT Corporate Application Training Lead
Position Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience developing and delivering SAP training programs using an automated tool.
- A minimum of 2 years in a Team Lead position.
- A minimum of 2 SAP implementation or upgrade experiences; Experience in a SAP production support role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP’s Finance, Supply Chain, and Maintenance functionality and the SAP technical environment.
- Experience with SAP R/3 v4.0 or higher.
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems / training design & development, project management methodologies and training methodologies.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Excellent facilitation, verbal and written (formal and technical) communication skills.
- Strong execution skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and deliver quality results within standards and meet deadlines.
- Experience using MS Office Suite including Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project and Outlook.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Prefer the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Drilling industry.
- Experience with the Resite training tool.
Position Responsibilities
- Serve as a training manager and expert for the ongoing SAP implementation and other applications.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the business process, system, integration and training areas.
- Participate in planning sessions / workshops.
- Identify where new hire and refresher training are required.
- Develop, manage and execute the IT Corporate Application training strategy relating to Corporate applications and overall Information Systems Development.
- Develop and maintain IT Corporate Application training standards.
- Provide overall Quality Assurance reviews of the business process and system training materials that will be used for classroom and remote access environments.
- Materials will be within the Resite tool.
- Materials include user system support documentation, operating procedures, printable participant guides, simulated lessons, exercise sheets and instructor guides
- Plan and manage all IT Corporate application training sessions including:
- Training user objectives.
- Schedule.
- Logistics.
- User enrollment and attendance.
- Training execution (Conducting the training session).
- Incorporate training materials into the overall training program.
- Monitor the performance and acceptance of the solution trained and delivered.
- Serve as an Administrator for the training course development tool (Resite).
- Manage the training team workload and deliver to agreed upon milestones.
- Forecast (as appropriate) and analyze system / integration defects and production requests / issues.
- Resolve with business relevant solutions (Provide 3rd Level Production Support / Issue Resolution).
- Provide after hours, weekend and on-call support.
- Support the installation of SAP Service Packs.
- Maintain relationships with IT management, IT staff including Business Analysts and business Subject Matter Experts.
- Coach / mentor IT staff specifically staff within management area.
