Development Lead
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related. Master’s degree a plus.
- 6 years experience designing, developing, testing and deploying application solutions (4 years SAP).
- 2 years experience leading application development within SAP.
- 2 SAP implementation or upgrade experiences and SAP production support role.
- Experience with ABAP, iDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and Workflows.
- Experience with SAP R/3 v4.0 or higher.
- Experience with SAP for designing and developing Forms, Reports, Enhancements and Workflows.
- Experience with the Mercury testing product suite including Mercury Quality Center and Mercury QuickTest Professional.
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems design & development and project management methodologies and enterprise application integration principles.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Experience using MS Office Suite including Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project and Outlook.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Prefer experience with SAP’s Finance, Supply Chain, and Maintenance functionality and with WebMethods (Integration Server and Developer) and SAP Business Connector
Position Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert in regards to ABAP, iDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and Workflows for SAP Finance, Maintenance and Supply Chain modules; Serve as an expert for legacy Noble IT Corporate applications.
- Apply Noble’s technical design, configuration, development, testing, documentation and architecture standards and principles.
- Anticipate and identify future business / technology changes.
- Assist with developing a conceptual solution as related to SAP, legacy applications / programs / interfaces and SAP Business Connector.
- Work with the PMO Application Administrator to prioritize development activities.
- Manage and oversee all custom application and integration activities specifically related to SAP, legacy application / program / interface and SAP Business Connector development.
- Work with the PMO Application Administrator to define and enforce application development Service Level Agreement’s (SLAs).
- Forecast (as appropriate) and analyze system / integration defects and production requests / issues.
- Support the installation of SAP Service Packs.
