Systems Analyst – Maintenance
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related IT field.
- A minimum of 3 years experience designing, configuring, testing and delivering solutions within SAP specifically for Plant Maintenance (PM).
- A minimum of 1 SAP implementation or upgrade experience; Experience in a SAP production support role.
- Experience with SAP R/3 v4.0 or higher.
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems design & development and project management methodologies.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Experience using MS Office Suite including Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project and Outlook.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Prefer the following:
- Experience with the Mercury testing product suite including Mercury Quality Center and Mercury QuickTest Professional.
- Experience with SAP workflows.
Position Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical (primary) and functional (secondary) expert with regards to following SAP functional area: Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Apply Noble’s technical design, configuration, development, testing, documentation and architecture standards and principles.
- Develop a conceptual solution for business requirements with the Business Analysts and Integration Lead,
- Research if the solution currently exists within Noble.
- Analyze the impact of the proposed solution on the application architecture and company codes.
- Develop and present conceptual alternatives.
- Scope and estimate the solution including project / resource estimates and key / required skills.
- Assist with developing the business case for the solution.
- Assist with translating business requirements into functional specifications.
- Assist with developing and maintaining business process flows.
- Translate functional specifications into technical requirements, detailed configuration design specifications and technical specifications as related to SAP.
- Develop and maintain application and data flows.
- Configure SAP based on the configuration and technical specifications.
- Create and execute unit test scenarios for SAP.
- Assist with creating and executing integration test scenarios.
- Perform data loads.
- Use Mercury testing tools including Mercury Quality Center and Mercury Quick Test Professional.
- Implement the solution by ensuring its transfer into the production environment.
- Forecast (as appropriate) and analyze system / integration defects and production requests / issues.
- Resolve with business relevant solutions (Provide 3rd Level Production Support / Issue Resolution).
- Provide after hours, weekend and on-call support.
