Maintenance Analyst
Position Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on technical reporting
- Strong computer and data management skills
- Knowledge of industry maintenance, operations, project scheduling and shipyard periods
- One to three years experience in this field
- Preferred: Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience/training.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide detailed analysis of downtime statistics including event classification, frequency in the divisions, and root cause.
- Become familiar with major drilling equipment, repair procedures, repair costs through participation on rig repairs, projects, overhauls, etc.
- Provide detailed analysis of SAP related issues and root cause of issues or implementation related items or procedures.
- Provide coordination and support to SAP project for the maintenance effort as necessary.
- Provide coordination of capital equipment installation with divisions and engineering department on shipyard projects.
- Maintain scheduled equipment deliveries and coordinate changes to provide best operational support.
- Review and understand equipment standardization opportunities.
