Business Analyst - Maintenance
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field
- A minimum of 4 years in the maintenance function
- 3 years experience using SAP within Plant Maintenance module
- A minimum of 1 SAP implementation or upgrade experience
- Experience with SAP R/3 v 4.0 or higher
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of drilling industry preferred
- Experience with Mercury Quality Center testing tool
- Experience with the Resite training tool
Position Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the business process, system and integration areas
- Jointly with System Analysts and Integration Lead, develop a conceptual solution for business requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Assist with translating functional specifications into technical requirements, detailed configuration design specifications and technical specifications
- Create and execute integration test scenarios and validate test results
- Prepare and maintain business process and system training materials in Resite for classroom and remote access environments.
- Implement the solution by communication into the organization
- Perform as a project manager for projects
- Forecast and analyze system/integration defects and production requests
- Support the installation of SAP Service Packs
- Communicate technology issues, plans, and solutions
- Maintain relationships with IT management, IT staff, Subject Matter Experts and Business Owners and other System Analysts
