Pneumatic/Hydraulic Maintenance Specialist
Position Qualifications
- 10 + years technical discipline on equipment or comparable experience
- 10+ years experience in maintenance systems administration, including managing maintenance personnel
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience and responsibility, including managing maintenance field personnel
- Willing to travel 25% of the time
Position Responsibilities
- Assume a lead maintenance role in the SAP/plant maintenance project.
- Perform field visits to assess and assist with maintenance efforts in the fleet.
- Develop maintenance routines and establish maintenance priorities for equipment in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
- Review and analyze maintenance and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, operating or maintenance problems including:
- Performance DT Reports
- Alerts
- PMS Audits
- Implement maintenance and repair methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve life cycle management.
- Revise maintenance and repair routines as a result of equipment failure or operating problem analyses.
- Consult with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to ensure proper operation, maintenance and repair standards are maintained.
- Work closely with and maintain good relationships with maintenance contractors and vendors to ensure that the equipment is maintained and repaired in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
- Direct timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
