Inventory Data Specialist
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from accredited college, university or institution or equivalent focused experience.
- 3 - 5 years experience in oilfield procurement, supply or related data content activities for the petroleum or drilling industries
- Functional knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical and major drilling equipment and materials preferred.
Position Responsibilities
- Use data management software to process incoming raw material data into quality catalog records for use within the maintenance, inventory and procurement systems supporting worldwide drilling operations.
- These tasks include
- Part Number Matching
- Form Fit Function identification
- Material Classification
- Data Normalization
- Data Enhancement
- Application of established business rules and requirements to data processing tasks.
- Provide assistance with data analysis supporting Rig Standardization Team and department initiatives.
- Assist with development of new controls and enhancement of existing control in conjunction Supply Chain management.
