Traffic Analyst - Logistics
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from accredited college, university or institution or equivalent focused experience.
- 1-3 years experience in supply chain, specifically logistics and transportation
- Functional knowledge of SAP.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate assigned air and ocean shipments
- Review material and packing reports to meet designated shipping schedules
- Review operations request for upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, etc.
- Communicate effectively with the zone regarding status of air and ocean shipments
- Coordinate as necessary the booking of air and ocean cargo with the freight forwarder as per the packing schedule
- Monitor shipments at the docks, airports or other locations when necessary to ensure timely arrival / delivery
- Expedite and coordinate emergency or “rig down” orders from seller to packer and / or port of export
- Maintain rig shipping profiles
- Quote domestic and international air and ocean freight estimates
- Demonstrate an understanding of FCPA and OFAC provisions
