Maintenance Supervisor
Position Qualifications
- 10+ years of multi-discipline maintenance activities and execution experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Expertise in field maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
- In-depth knowledge of the application, design, and maintenance of drilling rig electrical and mechanical equipment and systems
- In-depth knowledge of control and instrumentation systems
- Good understanding and working knowledge of machinery and systems as applicable to the ABS
- Proficient with SAP
- Familiarity with actual rig operations
- Willing to travel up to 35% of the time
Position Responsibilities
- Ensure all maintenance work is in accordance with Company safety policy and best practices.
- Inform division management of system upgrades or limitations affecting the safe operation of rig equipment to minimize downtime.
- Provide formal reports to management detailing quality and efficiency of rig based maintenance system.
- Ensure equipment repair and maintenance cost reports are accurate and complete.
- Assist Drilling Superintendents and Rig Maintenance Supervisors with planning and executing all maintenance work to be performed.
- Coordinate with outside vendors to discuss equipment and obtain quotes as necessary.
- Advise Drilling Superintendents and Rig Maintenance Supervisors on improvements to rig inventory.
