Electronics Technican

Position Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Good safety record from past operations
• Working knowledge of HSE practices common to the industry and the company
• Familiar with application of the HSE Management System
• Complete understanding and use of the Maintenance System
• Completion of training requirements for Electrician

Essential Functions

• Install, maintain and repair all electrical equipment onboard the rig.
• Ensure that repairs and projects are finished timely and keep a minimum backlog.
• Ensure that equipment failure is kept to a minimum and within contractual limits.
• Ensure replacement parts are kept to an optimum level.
• Maintain good communication with crew members.
• Ensure planned maintenance is accurately completed.
• Ensure that entries on permits, isolation tags and logs accurately reflect the current status of equipment.
• Participate in the development of newly appointed team members.
• Participate in company approved and recommended training as required.
• Regulatory compliance related to function.
• Assist team in maintenance of equipment as required.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HSE Management System thus allowing for safe, efficient operations.
