Mechanic
Position Qualifications
- 1 year experience as a Motorman or equivalent industry experience
- Good safety record from past operations
- Working knowledge of HSE practices
- Familiar with application of the HSE Management System
- Complete understanding and use of the Maintenance System
- Completion of training requirements for Motorman
Essential Functions
- Maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Ensure that repairs and projects are finished timely and keep a minimum backlog.
- Ensure that equipment failure is kept to a minimum and within contractual limits.
- Ensure replacement parts are kept to an optimum level.
- Maintain good communication with crew members.
- Ensure planned maintenance is accurately completed.
- Ensure that entries on permits, isolation tags and logs accurately reflect the current status of equipment.
- Participate in the development of newly appointed team members.
- Participate in training as required both on and offshore.
- Regulatory compliance related to function.
- Assist team in maintenance of equipment as required.
- Ensure safe and efficient operations on equipment.
- Ensure compliance with HSE Management System thus allowing for safe, efficient operations.
