Two of Noble Corporation’s high-specification JU-3000 jackups, the Noble Tom Prosser and the Noble Houston Colbert,  are recognized by operators for excellence in operations.

Conoco Phillips Recognizes Noble for Focus on Execution

In 2015, ConocoPhillips started the Supplier Recognition Award program to recognize suppliers who have made a real impact on their business and to honor suppliers for exhibiting exceptional leadership that celebrates ConocoPhillips SPIRIT values. 

The Supplier Recognition Awards are given in two categories that reflect corporate goals and priorities:  Focus on Execution and Doing Business Better. Suppliers are nominated by ConocoPhillips business units around the globe and winners are chosen by a cross-functional panel of senior leaders.

Noble Contracting II GNBH, based in Perth, Australia, is the winner of the 2018 Supplier Recognition Award for the category: Focus on Execution. Raymond Dunn, Regional Manager - Middle East, Far East & India, explains “this is in recognition of our successful collaboration with the entire drilling team on the Noble Tom Prosser to complete the three-well Bayu-Undan Infill Well drilling campaign with ZERO down-hole failures and lost time, ahead of schedule and under budget.”

Dolphin Energy Celebrates Noble’s Safety and Operational Excellence

The North Field offshore Qatar is the world’s largest natural gas field. Dolphin Energy produces substantial quantities of raw natural gas from the 27 deep wells that have been drilled and provides two billion standard cubic feet of natural gas every day. The Noble Houston Colbert received two awards from Dolphin Energy upon the conclusion of the Reservoir Management Optimization Project at the DOL-2 platform offshore Qatar.

The Colbert was awarded Dolphin Energy’s “Always Be Careful” award in recognition of achieving one year and over 1 million man-hours without LTI during the drilling campaign. Additionally, Noble was presented a trophy in appreciation of the support provided to Dolphin Energy in the successful planning and execution of the Reservoir Management Optimization Project. Both awards were presented by Hassan Al Emadi, General Manager of Dolphin Energy and received by Raymond Dunn.

Noble Wins IADC-Australasia Chapter Safety Award

During 2018, IADCAustralasia chapter member companies completed over 4.5 million working hours for both onshore and offshore operations. The safety statistics for the participating companies were supplied quarterly and submitted in accordance with 2018-ISP IADC Official Rules and Guidelines. Excellent safety results from the Noble Tom Prosser and Noble Clyde Boudreaux contributed to Noble winning the Offshore award for 2018.
